IN MEMORIAM

It is with a heavy heart that FIHRRST announces the passing on Monday 16 September of Harbrinderjit Singh (H.S.) Dillon, respected co-founder, much-loved friend, and continual source of inspiration.

Born in Medan on April 23, 1945, his life was one of dedication towards making things better for those in most need. Although an agricultural economist by qualification, his vocation knew no bounds and he filled a variety of positions in Indonesian political life as a tireless fighter in support of human rights and eradication of corruption.  

The passing of H.S. Dillon leaves a gaping hole in the heart of each one of us, but also strengthens FIHRRST’s resolve to continue his life’s work in support of the underprivileged not only of Indonesia, but of the world.  

H.S. Dillon is survived by his wife, Drupadi S Harnopidjati, three children and two grandchildren to whom we express our condolences.
