Joint Stakeholders’ Report on Issues Relating to the Death Penalty in Indonesia

A SUBMISSION TO THE UNITED NATIONS HUMAN RIGHTS COUNCIL ON THE UNIVERSAL PERIODIC REVIEW (UPR)
OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA 27TH SESSION (APRIL-MAY 2017)

FIHRRST, together with six other CSOs, has jointly prepared the Report on Issues Relating to the Death Penalty in Indonesia. This report conveys recommendations relating to the nation’s death penalty policy for Indonesia’s UPR in 2017, which include Reformation of the Penal Code; Torture and Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment; Administrative of Justice and Fair Trial; Rights of Persons with Disabilities; and Protection of Migrant Workers.
